the Panther DX is identical to the the Panther XL, but it does not have a trackball.  this had to be remedied.  so i modded a crystal trackball from CompUSA into a Panther DX (using a lot of silicon)...it worked great...then after a short while wire chafing was becoming evident....one button then another.... i finally got around to fixing it and the Franken-DX was born....and it works great....the pictures speak for themselves...check 'em out!!!
